Since the February 21, 2013 presentation of “Metro”, an enormous amount of positive feedback has come from it’s audience and critics. The film’s soundtrack was recorded in Moscow and is presented in a 5.1. surround sound format.

The live-action thriller film “Metro”, directed by Anton Megerdichev, aired today February 21st.

“Spread widely throughout central Moscow, tunnels of an underground railway become impaired after recent construction. As an unexpected result, an impending flood puts hundreds of passengers at the mercy of the Moscow River. Raging water threatens not only the underpass, but the city itself. Among those affected by the flooding city are doctor Andrey Garin and his daughter Xenia. Fighting the disaster, Garin tries to help save the surviving passengers, including his wife’s lover.”

Alex HarDrum composed some original music for the film, including tracks such as “Disaster” and “Water”.

Greetings to the contest winners!

We’ve listened to all remixes in the competition and it is time to reveal the winners of contest for “The Game” song!

The remix competition for NewTone’s single “The Game”, collaboration with Troy MacCubbin, has now officially ended. The judging has begun and the results will be revealed on the 8th of January, 2012.

The remix competition for NewTone and Troy MacCubbin’s “The Game” has now taken place! It will begin on the 30th of November and will continue until the 30th of December. Recently, NewTone finished their remix of a classical piece by the prolific and influential composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
It was used as an AD for Kaspersky Lab’s new antivirus software.

NewTone has announced the collaboration with famous guitarist and musician Troy MacCubbin (ex-guitarist for t.A.T.u. & Lena Katina). Studio production for the first joint single is currently in progress.

In addition, HarDrum began working with Troy’s affiliate - “Alloy Tracks”, whom which are best known for their engagement with most high-profile Hollywood films, writing music!

On October 7, 2010, Russian thriller film, “Dark World 3D”, made it’s way public featuring music by producer and NewTone group member, Alex HarDrum (ХарДрам).
The film’s soundtrack released, which included NewTone’s track, “Dark Worlds”, as it’s main theme, as well as the composition of “Killer” from NewTone’s upcoming album.
